Jesuit Missions 4 Day Tour

Day 1: Santa Cruz - San Javier Mission - Concepción

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and head towards Chiquitania. We will visit San Javier, the first mission built by the Jesuits in 1691. You'll have free time for lunch before heading to the Paquio forest to see the rock formations. Next, we will go to the village of Concepción for dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Concepción - San Ignacio

We'll start the day with a buffet breakfast, then visit the village of Concepción and its church. Afterward, we'll depart for the Jesuit Mission of San Ignacio, founded in 1748, and explore the town's Jesuit cathedrals and churches before spending the night.

Day 3: San Ignacio - San Miguel - San Rafael - Santa Ana - San José

We'll wake up early to explore the Jesuit Missions, starting with San Miguel, where part of the 18th-century church remains. Next, we'll visit San Rafael and Santa Ana, the last missions before the Jesuits' expulsion in 1767. We will also visit local crafts workshops, followed by free time for lunch. We will end the day in San José de Chiquitos.

Day 4: San José - Santa Cruz

The final day includes breakfast and a visit to the Jesuit complex of San José, known for its church and colonial-style decorations. After lunch, we will return to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, arriving around 5 pm.
