Jesuit Missions 4 Day Tour

Day 1: Santa Cruz - San Javier Mission - Concepción

At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and travel to Chiquitania. Our first visit will be to the San Javier Mission, the first mission established by Jesuits in 1691. After a lunch break in San Javier, we will explore the Paquio forest and then proceed to Concepción for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Concepción - San Ignacio

Day two begins with a buffet breakfast. We will visit the village of Concepción and its Jesuit church, then depart for the Jesuit Mission of San Ignacio, founded in 1748. Following this, we will explore San Ignacio's Jesuit cathedrals and churches before our overnight stay.

Day 3: San Ignacio - San Miguel - San Rafael - Santa Ana - San José

We will wake up early to visit San Miguel’s 18th-century church. Next, we will see San Rafael and Santa Ana, significant sites from the Jesuit era. After visiting local crafts workshops, there will be time for lunch before heading to San José de Chiquitos for the night.

Day 4: San José - Santa Cruz

The final day includes breakfast and a visit to the Jesuit complex of San José, featuring a stone church and bell tower. After lunch, we'll return to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, arriving around 5 pm.
