On this excursion to the Lomas de Arena Regional Park, a protected area of Bolivia, you'll discover a spectacular landscape formed by lagoons and sand dunes!
Lomas de Arena Regional Park Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel at 8 am to head towards Lomas de Arena Regional Park, located 7.5 miles (12 km) southeast of Santa Cruz. This area features lagoons and sandbanks.
Upon arrival, we will tour the park's landscapes, from sand dunes to forests inhabited by monkeys, sloths, and various endemic bird species.
After the tour, we will have a picnic lunch, followed by free time for exploration or swimming in one of the lagoons. Other activities include sandboarding and quad biking on the sand dunes reaching up to 39 ft (12 meters).
Finally, we will return to Santa Cruz de la Sierra by bus and drop you off at your hotel around 12 noon.
