On this excursion to the Lomas de Arena Regional Park, a protected area of Bolivia, you'll discover a spectacular landscape formed by lagoons and sand dunes!

Lomas de Arena Regional Park Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel at 8 am to head towards the Lomas de Arena Regional Park, located 7.5 miles (12 km) southeast of Santa Cruz. This protected area comprises lagoons and sandbanks.

Upon arrival, we'll tour various landscapes of the park, which include sand dunes and small forests inhabited by monkeys, sloths, and numerous species of endemic birds.

After the tour, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch, and then you'll have free time to explore or swim in one of the lagoons. Optional activities include sandboarding or quad biking on sand dunes that reach up to 39 ft (12 meters), perfect for those seeking adventure.

Finally, we'll return to Santa Cruz de la Sierra by bus and drop you off at your hotel around 12 noon.
