Starting with an 8 am pickup, we will embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive towards Fort Samaipata. During the journey, witness the striking mountains, often referred to as "volcanoes", as we ascend to this historic pre-Columbian site. You will have approximately 40 minutes to wander through the ancient ruins before we continue to the Samaipata Archaeological Museum.

At around 1 pm, enjoy some leisure time for lunch in the village before we conclude our day with a visit to the waterfalls of Las Cuevas and El Chorro, maintaining a similar schedule to our Fort Samaipata excursion.

Fort Samaipata Exploration and Wine Route (11 hours)

After picking you up from your hotel at 8 am, we will hit the road to begin our adventure. Our initial stop will be the Landsua vineyards, where you'll gain insight into local winemaking traditions and sample exquisite wines. Following this, we will proceed to Fort Samaipata to delve into the significance of this ancient archaeological site.

After a 40-minute stroll through the ruins, we will make our way to the Uvairenda vineyards for an engaging visit and a delightful tasting of local wines accompanied by cheese. Following our vineyard exploration, enjoy some free time for lunch before we journey back to Santa Cruz, with a brief stop at Las Cuevas. This itinerary parallels our trip to Fort Samaipata and the wine route.

San Javier Jesuit Mission Exploration (13 hours)

We will collect you at 7 am to commence our journey, passing through the charming villages of Cotoca, Pailas, Pailón, and Los Troncos. Anticipating arrival at San Javier around 11 am, we will tour the oldest church established by Jesuits in this area. About an hour later, we will continue our route to Concepción, known for its stunning palm trees, jungles, and unique rock formations.

After enjoying some free time for lunch, we will visit the 18th-century church and the craft workshops where local artisans create pieces for the church. The itinerary will be quite similar to our San Javier Jesuit Mission tour.

San José Jesuit Mission Exploration (13 hours)

Your day begins at 7:30 am with a pickup for the San José Jesuit Mission. We will drive for approximately four hours through the picturesque Bolivian countryside to reach San José, one of the oldest Jesuit missions. Upon arrival, we will tour its stunning stone-faced church and the Mission Museum.

After some leisure time for lunch, we will proceed to Santa Cruz la Vieja to enjoy breathtaking vistas of the Chiquitano Valley and explore the workshops of skilled craftsmen. Our itinerary mirrors that of our Jesuit Mission of San José.
