On this Gasparee Caves guided tour, we will explore crystal-clear waters and stalagmite formations 30 meters (100 feet) below ground.
Description
We will pick you up from your selected hotel in Port of Spain to travel to Gasparee Island, also known as Gaspar Grande, located between Trinidad and Venezuela. The boat ride includes views of an old whaling port and its ruins.
Upon arrival at Gasparee, you will see the unique limestone ground. We will walk to the cave area and view artillery ruins from the Second World War.
Next, we will explore the Gasparee Caves to observe a striking stalactite and stalagmite formation. We will reach the deepest point, 30 meters (100 feet)natural pool of turquoise water illuminated by sunlight.
Afterward, we will return by boat to Port of Spain, completing the tour in 4 hours.
