Gasparee Caves Tour

On this Gasparee Caves guided tour, we will explore the crystal-clear water and stalagmite formations situated 30 metres (100 feet) below ground.

Description

Pickup will be arranged from your selected hotel in Port of Spain to visit Gasparee Island (Gaspar Grande), located between Trinidad and Venezuela. The journey includes views of an old whaling port and its ruins.

Upon arrival at Gasparee, you'll observe the unique limestone ground and walk to the caves, where you’ll also see artillery ruins from the Second World War.

We will enter the Gasparee Caves to view the stalactite and stalagmite formations, reaching the deepest point of 30 metres (100 feet) underground. You'll encounter a natural pool of turquoise water illuminated by sunlight filtering through an opening in the cave's roof.

The tour concludes with a return boat journey to Port of Spain, dropping you off at the starting point after 4 hours.
