Join us for a kayaking tour through the Caroni Bird Sanctuary. Connect with nature as we paddle through Trinidad and Tobago's largest mangrove area.

Kayaking Tour in the Caroni Bird Sanctuary

Pickup will be from your selected hotel in Port of Spain to begin our kayaking trip. We will travel to the swampy area with the most extensive mangroves on the island.

After a 15-kilometer route (9.3 miles), we'll arrive at the launch point where our kayaks will be ready. We will paddle through the lagoons that constitute the Caroni Bird Sanctuary.

During the tour, we will appreciate the natural landscape surrounded by mangroves and forest vegetation, noted by the sounds of wildlife.

Throughout the kayaking experience in Caroni, you may observe various bird species, small reptiles, anteaters, owls, and the scarlett ibis.

On our return trip, we will board a small boat that will navigate through the canals back to our starting point.

After 2 hours, we will return you to your hotel, concluding the experience.
