Temple in the Sea at Waterloo + La Brea Lake Excursion

On this trip from Port of Spain, we'll visit the famous Temple in the Sea at Waterloo and La Brea Lake, two major tourist attractions in Trinidad & Tobago.

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your chosen hotel in Port of Spain to begin our journey south.

After an hour-long journey, we'll reach San Fernando, the second-largest city in Trinidad & Tobago. We'll continue for another 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) to La Brea Lake, also known as Pitch Lake.

La Brea is a natural asphalt deposit with a depth of almost 80 meters (262 ft). Some animals inhabit this unique environment.

Next, we'll travel to Carapichaima to visit the Temple in the Sea at Waterloo, a Hindu sanctuary honoring various deities. Here, we'll discuss the story of the temple's construction in Trinidad & Tobago.

Nearby, we'll find the statue of Lord Hanuman, the largest Hindu statue outside of India.

We'll conclude this excursion after 8 hours, returning to the hotels in Port of Spain.
