On this cruise tour from Portimão, you'll visit the Benagil Caves, the most famous sea grottos in the Algarve, along with enjoying a barbecue on the beach.

At 10 am, we will set sail from the Vasco da Gama dock in Portimão to the Benagil Caves. During this sea adventure aboard the catamaran Ophelia, we will sail off the coast of Ferragudo, seeing Praia Grande and the Fort of São João. After these sights, we will continue along the coast of Alagar Seco and dock in front of the Benagil Caves, which you can explore with small boats provided for you.

We will disembark in one of the coves in Benagil. While the crew prepares lunch on the beach, you will have free time for swimming and paddle surfing. The menu includes a barbecue of different grilled meats, bread, traditional Algarve salad, and seasonal fruit. An open bar is included, featuring white or red wine, orange soda, or mineral water.

After lunch, we will return to the boat and head back to Portimão, arriving at 4 pm.

Itinerary Changes

In adverse weather conditions, maritime police may prohibit access to the Benagil Cave. If this occurs, you will have additional free time for swimming and the barbecue on the beach.
