Benagil Caves Cruise + BBQ

Our journey begins at 10 am as we depart from the Vasco da Gama dock in Portimão, aiming for the spectacular Benagil Caves.

During this captivating sea voyage along Portugal's southern coast aboard the catamaran Ophelia, we will glide past the picturesque village of Ferragudo. As we cruise along its shores, enjoy views of Praia Grande and the Fort of São João, a magnificent fortress overlooking the Atlantic.

Following our coastal tour, we will reach the stunning Algar Seco area before anchoring near the Benagil Caves. Here, you can take your time to explore the caves using the small boats provided for your convenience.

Next, we will make landfall at one of the charming coves in Benagil. While our crew sets up lunch on the beach, you will have the chance for a refreshing swim or to try paddle surfing. The meal includes a mouthwatering barbecue featuring a variety of grilled meats, alongside bread, a traditional Algarve salad, and seasonal fruits. An open bar will be available, offering white or red wine, orange soda, and mineral water.

After enjoying our meal, we will reboard the boat for our return journey to Portimão, arriving back at the dock by 4 pm.

Please note that due to inclement weather, access to the Benagil Cave may occasionally be restricted by maritime authorities. In such cases, additional time will be allocated for swimming and enjoying water sports, as well as the beach barbecue.
