More than 30 years ago, a volcano erupted in southeastern Washington State, devastating the area. Mount Saint Helens is a significant geological site, located 80 kilometers (50 miles) from Portland. Join us to learn more.
At the scheduled time, we will meet at 523 NE 19th Avenue and depart for Mount Saint Helens. During the journey, we will discuss the geological features of the area, including the 18th May 1980 eruption.
