Porto Alegre Guided Tour

At 9:30 am, we'll meet at Praça XV de Novembro to start a walking tour through the historic center of Porto Alegre. During our guided tour, we'll delve into the history of the capital of Rio Grande do Sul and visit some of its most emblematic places.

Before we set off into the city, we'll pause to look at the kiosk in the square, one of the oldest buildings in Porto Alegre built in 1885. We'll discuss its various functions and renovations over the years.

Afterward, we'll visit the public market, where we will experience the daily life of Porto Alegre. This building, dating back to the 19th century, houses many traditional stalls offering a variety of Brazilian products.

Next, we'll admire the exterior of the Municipal Palace, one of the city's key monuments. Nearby is the Esquina Democrática (Democratic Corner), a historical landmark where we will explore the city's darker history and mysterious events.

Finally, the tour will conclude at 11:30 am in Praça Alfândega.
