7 Day Fishing Trip on the Araguaia River from Palmas

Day 1

We will pick you up at your hotel or Palmas airport at the scheduled time. Depending on your arrival, we will take you to a hotel in Palmas or head to Caseara to spend the night before setting off for the Araguaia River.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will take a boat trip from Caseara to the base camp on the Araguaia River for the next four days. An orientation on safely handling fishing equipment will be provided before we begin fishing. Lunch will be served outdoors on the riverbank, followed by a return to the camp for dinner and rest.

Days 3, 4, and 5

Each day after breakfast, we will continue our fishing adventure on the Araguaia River, enjoying lunch on the riverbank. We may move along the river for better fishing, targeting well-known species such as Pirarara, Piraíba, and Tucunaré. Nights will be spent in tents, with dinner provided at the camp.

Day 6

After breakfast, we will have a few hours of fishing before heading back to Caseara in the afternoon. Dinner will be enjoyed there before spending the night.

Day 7

On the final day, we will have breakfast and then take you to Palmas airport in time for your flight.

Accommodation

This tour includes 6 nights of accommodation with full board:

Caseara or Palmas: First night at Pousada Cantinho do Sul in Caseara or at the Hotel 10 Palmas. Last night at Pousada Cantinho do Sul in Caseara.Araguaia River: Accommodation in tents.

Timetables

The itinerary on the first day is dependent on your flight's arrival time:

If your flight arrives before 7 pm, you will have a welcome lunch before transferring to Pousada Sonho Meu in Caseara.If you arrive after 8 pm, you will have a welcome dinner and spend the night in Palmas, with a transfer to Pousada Sonho Meu at 5 am.
