7 Day Fishing Trip on the Araguaia River from Palmas

Day 1

Pick up at your hotel or Palmas airport. Depending on arrival time, stay at a hotel in Palmas or head to Caseara for the night before setting off for the Araguaia River.

Day 2

After breakfast, boat trip from Caseara to the base camp on the Araguaia River for four days of fishing. A presentation on safely handling fishing equipment will precede fishing activities. Outdoor lunch provided on the banks of the river, followed by dinner and rest at the base camp.

Days 3, 4, and 5

Daily breakfast followed by fishing activities. Lunch will be served on the riverbank. The boat will move along the river for optimal fishing. Species include Pirarara, Piraíba, and Tucunaré. Return to tents for dinner and rest each night.

Day 6

After breakfast, fishing during the final hours, then return to Caseara for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7

Breakfast before transfer to Palmas airport, ensuring ample time for your flight.

Accommodation

6 nights of accommodation with full board:

Caseara or Palmas: First night at Pousada Cantinho do Sul or Hotel 10 Palmas depending on arrival flight. Last night at Pousada Cantinho do Sul.Araguaia River: Accommodation in tents.

Itinerary of the first day varies by flight arrival time:

Arrival before 7 pm: Welcome lunch followed by transfer to Pousada Sonho Meu in Caseara.Arrival after 8 pm: Welcome dinner and overnight in Palmas, with transfer to Pousada Sonho Meu at 5 am.
