7 Day Fishing Trip on the Araguaia River from Palmas

Day 1

Pick up from your hotel or Palmas airport at the scheduled time. Depending on arrival time, you will either go to a hotel in Palmas or continue to Caseara for an overnight stay before heading to the Araguaia River.

Day 2

After breakfast, a boat trip will take you from Caseara to the base camp on the Araguaia River for the next four days. Begin your fishing adventure on a river that is home to over 250 exotic fish species. A brief safety presentation on fishing equipment will precede the fishing activity. Lunch will be served outdoors by the river, followed by dinner and rest at the base camp.

Days 3, 4, and 5

Each day, after breakfast, equipment will be collected for continued fishing adventures. Enjoy lunch on the riverbank while checking fishing rods. The boat will move along the river in search of well-known species such as Pirarara, Piraíba, and Tucunaré. Nightly returns to tents include dinner and rest.

Day 6

After breakfast, spend final hours fishing before returning to Caseara in the afternoon for a tasty dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7

On the last day, have breakfast before traveling to Palmas airport for your flight.

Accommodation

This tour includes 6 nights of accommodation with full board:

Caseara or Palmas: First night at Pousada Cantinho do Sul in Caseara or Hotel 10 Palmas, depending on arrival flight timing. Last night at Pousada Cantinho do Sul de Caseara.Araguaia River: Accommodation in tents.

The itinerary of the first day varies based on your flight's arrival time:

If your flight arrives before 7 pm, you will have a welcome lunch before transfer to Pousada Sonho Meu in Caseara.If your flight arrives after 8 pm, welcome dinner and overnight stay in Palmas, with transfer to Pousada Sonho Meu in Caseara at 5 am.
