Bananal Island and Cantao Park 3-Day Trip

Day 1

After pickup from your hotel at Palmas airport, we will embark on a three and a half hour journey to Lagoa da Confusão. Enjoy a lunch while learning about the upcoming photo safari. We will search for animals while exploring the three biomes: the dense vegetation of the Amazon, the forests of Ipucas, and the Cerrado. Afterward, we will travel for an hour to the Javaés River to view more wildlife and see Bananal, the biggest river island in the world. We will return to Lagoa da Confusão for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will take a trip around the waters of Lagoa da Confusão, with an option for swimming. Then, we will travel for two and a half hours to Caseara, in the heart of Cantão Park. We will enjoy a meal followed by a sunset boat ride on the Araguaia River, admiring its beautiful landscapes, including Bananal Island. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Caseara.

Day 3

We will wake early for breakfast and head into Cantão Park to observe the sunrise. Depending on the season, we will walk or take a boat to the park's headquarters to learn about the ecosystem. After returning for lunch, we will drive back to Palmas, arriving at your hotel or the airport around 5:30 pm.
