Chapada das Mesas National Park Multi Day Trip

Looking for a journey in the middle of nature? Join us on this trip to the Chapada das Mesas National Park, where we'll discover the landscapes in the south of Maranhão over 4 or 5 days.

4-Day Tour

Day 1

At 5 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Palmas to begin this 4-day tour of the Chapada das Mesas National Park. After a journey of around 500 kilometres (310 miles), we'll arrive at Carolina for lunch and visit the Gemelas Waterfalls. We will end the day at our accommodation to rest.

Day 2

We'll depart for Riachão, exploring iconic spots like Encanto Azul, Pozo Azul, Los Enamorados Waterfall, Santa Bárbara Waterfall, and Paula Waterfall. We'll return to the accommodation in Riachão for the night.

Day 3

We'll visit the Pedra Caída Tourist Complex and the Sanctuary Waterfall. Optional visits include the Capellán Waterfall, Caverna Waterfall, Garrote Waterfall, and Porteira Waterfall. We'll conclude the day back at the accommodation.

Day 4

Our final day includes a visit to the Chapada das Mesas Portal for views of Morro do Chapéu. We will return to Palmas, arriving around 3 pm to end the tour.

5-Day Tour

The 5-day tour option has a similar itinerary, with the extra day dedicated to visiting the Prata and São Romão Waterfalls. The fourth day includes visits to Pedra Caída Tourist Complex and Sanctuary Waterfall, and on the last day, we'll head to Chapada das Mesas Waterfall before returning to Palmas by approximately 3 pm.
