Jalapao State Park Multi-Day Tour

Tour Options and Highlights

Day 1

We'll pick you up from your Palmas hotel at the designated time for a 6-day excursion through Jalapão State Park. Our first stop will be the Taquarussu waterfalls, followed by lunch at a local restaurant, where you can try adventure sports like rappelling or zip-lining. Dinner will be at Taquarussu Hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, we'll visit Jalapão State Park, stopping at the Japanese Lagoon of Puente Alto de Tocantins for swimming and lunch. We'll check in at our hotel in Puente Alto, then see the rock formation of Pedra Furada. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Puente Alto.

Day 3

After breakfast, our journey continues to the Rio Nuevo community for lunch and insights into their way of life. We'll visit the Nuevo River and see the Jalapão dunes and Espírito Santo mountain range. Dinner will be in Mateiros.

Day 4

We'll have breakfast and head to the Fervedouros, where you can bathe in the emerald waters. After lunch, we'll visit the community of Mumbuca to learn about Golden Grass crafts, then see the Fervedouro do Encontro das Águas before returning to Mateiros for dinner.

Day 5

After breakfast, we'll travel to Fervedouro Buritizinho for swimming. Lunch will be at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to Fervedouro do Macaúbas before staying overnight in São Felix.

Day 6

On our last day, we’ll visit additional Fervedouros such as Alecrim and Bela Vista. After lunch, we will conclude our tour and return to Palmas by approximately 7:30 pm.

This itinerary is similar to the 6-day tour but ends in Palmas on the fifth day.

4-day tour

Day 1

Explore the Japonesa Lagoon, Piedra Furada, and Alto de Tocantins Bridge.

Day 2

Focus on the Rio Novo community and Serra do Espírito Santo, overnight in Mateiros.

Day 3

Discover the natural pools including Fervedouros like Buritis and Buritizinho, ending in São Félix.

Day 4

Visit more Fervedouros like Bela Vista and explore Alecrim beach before heading to Palmas.

3-day tour

Day 1

Explore the Cathedral mountain range, then visit Fervedouros and overnight in São Félix.

Day 2

Focus on the natural pools and dunes, staying overnight in Mateiros.

Day 3

After breakfast, visit the Formiga waterfall and one last Fervedouro before returning to Palmas.
