Pataxó da Jaqueira Excursion

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Porto Seguro at the indicated time to start an excursion to the Pataxó da Jaqueira Reserve.

This indigenous reserve, located 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from Porto Seguro, is where the Pataxó people have maintained their ancestral customs and relationship with nature for centuries. Before we arrive, we will learn about the history of the Pataxó Indigenous Peoples living in Bahia and Minas Gerais.

Upon arrival at Pataxó da Jaqueira, community members will welcome us in traditional garb. Inside the reserve, we will learn about local customs, including dances, games, rituals, and the Patxohã language.

After this cultural exchange, we will return to your hotel in Porto Seguro, concluding the excursion approximately 3 hours later.

This activity includes pickup only at hotels located in the central area of Porto Seguro. Pickup from hotels in Arraial D'Ajuda, Trancoso, Santa Cruz Cabrália, Espelho, and Caraíva is not available.
