On this tour of Arraial d'Ajuda and Mucugê Beach, we'll discover one of the wonders of the state of Bahia, featuring beautiful cliffs and the rich history of the city.

Arraial d'Ajuda & Taípe Beach Tour

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the Porto Seguro Praia Hotel to begin the tour of Arraial d'Ajuda.

Our first stop will be Mucugê Beach, where you will have 4 hours of free time to enjoy activities such as sunbathing or snorkelling in its crystal clear waters.

Next, we will visit the town of Arraial d'Ajuda, exploring its historic buildings and Bróduei St, akin to New York's Broadway. We will also pass by São Brás Square and the Church of Nossa Senhora d'Ajuda, built in 1550 and renovated in 1772. This church is a site for annual pilgrimage celebrations.

At the back of the church, there is a viewpoint offering panoramic views of the region, known for its colourful ribbons tied by visitors making wishes to the Virgin.

During the tour, you will have a chance to have lunch on your own to sample local gastronomy.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point in Arraial d'Ajuda, concluding the tour approximately 9 hours later.
