Trancoso Day Trip

During this day excursion, we'll depart from Porto Seguro to explore Trancoso, a destination rich in history and unique features. Accompany us as we meander through the charming streets of the historic district and take in the sights of its idyllic beaches.

Day Trip Overview

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Porto Seguro at the scheduled time. The journey south lasts approximately an hour and a half, leading us to Trancoso.

Upon our arrival, we will visit several stunning beaches around the area, particularly the Quadrado de Trancoso and Dos Coqueiros Beach, both renowned for their breathtaking natural beauty.

Guests will enjoy near 5 hours of leisure time, allowing you to soak in the picturesque surroundings and savor a meal at one of the seaside eateries we recommend. Afterwards, our next stop will be the heart of Trancoso.

For about an hour, we will embark on a guided exploration of the town's significant landmarks, tracing its origins back to the 16th century, when Pedro Álvares Cabral landed in Brazil. This tour will reveal the life of the Jesuits in the area and its evolution during the 1970s as it transformed into a 'hippie town'.

We will delve into the historic Quadrado neighborhood, the town's old quarter, where the quaint colonial fishermen's houses and the Church of San Juan Bautista await your admiration.

As our day trip nears its conclusion, we will make our way back to your hotel, wrapping up the experience after approximately 9 hours.
