On this excursion, we'll leave Porto Seguro behind to visit Trancoso, a town full of history and peculiarities. We'll take you on a stroll through the streets of the old town and admire its dreamy beaches.

Trancoso Excursion

After picking you up at your hotel in Porto Seguro at 8 am, we'll travel south for about an hour and a half until we reach Trancoso.

Upon arrival, we'll go on a guided tour of the main sights of this town, whose history dates back to the 16th century when Pedro Álvares Cabral arrived in Brazil. During the tour, we'll discover life for the Jesuits in the town and learn about its transformation in the 70s into a 'hippie town.'

We'll explore the old neighborhood of Quadrado, the historic center of Trancoso, where we'll see the colonial fishermen's houses and the church of Quadrado.

Next, we'll head to the beach of Quadrado de Trancoso, a 15-minute walk away, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the waters and the visible reefs. This is an ideal spot for photos.

You will have half an hour of free time to eat at one of the restaurants on the beach. Afterward, we’ll return to Porto Seguro, concluding the tour at your hotel around 5 pm.
