On this cruise along the Douro, we'll sail between Porto and Pinhão and then return to Porto by bus.
1 Day Cruise to Pinhão
The cruise departs from the Cais de Estiva dock on the Porto riviera. As we leave Porto, breakfast is served.
We will travel through the Douro Valley, taking in views of the vineyards and wineries, and we will reach the Crestuma-Lever Dam, where the lock drops you 14 metres.
Lunch will be provided, featuring a typical Portuguese menu, including water, soft drinks, and wine.
Continuing, we will arrive at the Carrapatelo Dam with a 35 metre drop. Onboard, you will enjoy snacks and local port wine as we pass through Régua, known for its wine and vineyards.
Next, we will proceed to the Barragem de Bagaúste with a 27 metre drop. We will reach Pinhão at approximately 6 pm, where a visit to the Quinta da Roeda vineyard will allow you to sample some of their best wines before heading back to Oporto.
The bus returns to Porto at 9:30 pm.
