On this cruise along the Douro, we'll sail along the river between Porto and Pinhão. To complete the experience, we will return to Porto by bus.

1 Day Cruise to Pinhão

The cruise departs from the Cais de Estiva dock along the Porto riviera. As we set sail, breakfast will be served.

As we progress through the Douro Valley, you will enjoy the stunning views of the vineyards and wineries. Our first significant stop is the Crestuma-Lever Dam, where we will descend 14 metres through its lock.

Lunch will feature a traditional Portuguese menu, accompanied with water, soft drinks, and wine.

Continuing the journey, we will reach the Carrapatelo Dam, which boasts a 35 metre drop. While enjoying snacks and local port wine on board, take in the sights of the final vineyards as we pass through Régua, known as "the capital of wine and vineyards".

We will navigate upstream to our next destination, the Barragem de Bagaúste, with a 27 metre drop. By around 6 pm, we will arrive at Pinhão. Here, we will visit the Quinta da Roeda, a vineyard where you can sample some of their finest vintages before we return to Porto.

The bus will return to Porto at 9:30 pm.

During this full-day cruise experience, you will have the opportunity to sail along the scenic Douro River, sample local cuisine, and indulge in wine tasting.
