On this cruise along the Douro, we'll sail along the river between Porto and Pinhão, and return to Porto by bus.

1 Day Cruise to Pinhão

The cruise departs from the Cais de Estiva dock on the Porto riviera. As we leave Porto, breakfast is served.

We will pass through the Douro Valley, enjoying the views of the vineyards and wineries, and arrive at the Crestuma-Lever Dam, with a 14-meter descent.

Lunch will be served with a typical Portuguese menu, including water, soft drinks, and wine.

Next, we'll reach the Carrapatelo Dam, featuring a 35-meter drop. With snacks and local port wine on board, you can enjoy the sights of the vineyards while passing through Régua, known as "the capital of wine and vineyards".

We will continue upstream to the Barragem de Bagaúste, which has a 27-meter drop. We expect to arrive at Pinhão around 6 pm, where a visit to the Quinta da Roeda vineyard will allow you to taste some of their best vintages before returning to Porto.

The bus returns to Porto at 9:30 pm.
