Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Calçada da Vandoma, next to Porto Cathedral, and head to the old city of Amarante, where we'll explore its historic centre and the stone 'St. Peter's Bridge', the symbol of the region.
The next stop will be Galafura, in the heart of the valley, offering views of the entire region. We will then enjoy a meal at a traditional restaurant, where you can sample some of the famous region's wines. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements.
Our tour will continue at Quinta da Roêda or a similar vineyard/wine cellar, where we will taste exquisite wines and learn about their flavor nuances. The Douro region is notable for being the first demarcated wine region in the world and is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Before returning, we will embark on a cruise to explore the Pinhão region from the water, with impressive views from the boat.
After a total of 9 hours, we will conclude the tour by returning to Porto, dropping you off at Rua de Alexandre Herculano, 4000-053, a few metres from Praça da Batalha.
