Guimarães & Braga Day Trip

On this day trip, we'll visit Guimarães and Braga, exploring the culture and natural beauty in northern Portugal. Discover the important religious city known as the "Cradle of Portugal".

Day Trip Details

We will meet at the designated time on Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, then travel to the historic city of Braga, a must-see destination in Portugal.

In Braga, we will visit the interior of the Sé de Braga and the Santuario do Bom Jesus. Afterward, we will take a guided tour of the historic center of Braga, viewing the exterior of monuments such as the Episcopal Palace and walking through the picturesque streets of the old town.

Following some free time for shopping and exploration, we will continue to Guimarães. There, we will visit the Medieval castle and explore the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fortified towers of the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza are visible throughout the city, and we will observe its architecture influenced by 14th-century French palaces.

We will conclude the trip at Rua de Alexandre Herculano after a total of 9 hours.
