Guimarães & Braga Day Trip

On this day trip, we'll visit Guimarães and Braga, exploring the culture and natural beauty in northern Portugal. Discover one of the most significant religious cities, called the "Cradle of Portugal".

Day Trip Details

We will meet at Calçada da Vandoma and head to the historic city of Braga. In Braga, we will visit the interior of the Sé de Braga and the Santuario do Bom Jesus. A guided tour of the historic center will follow, showcasing the exterior of iconic monuments like the Episcopal Palace and the picturesque streets of the old town.

After enjoying some free time for shopping and exploring, we will proceed to Guimarães. Here, we will visit the Medieval castle and the historic center, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fortified towers of the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza dominate the skyline, and we will observe its architecture influenced by 14th-century French palaces.

We will conclude the trip at Rua de Alexandre Herculano after approximately 9 hours.
