Have you ever visited the wonderful surroundings of the Paiva River? On this tour from Porto, you'll explore its famous walkways and cross the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world. Are you ready?

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Porto and start a 1.5-hour drive to the Arouca Geopark.

Once you reach the destination, you'll begin exploring the Paiva Walkways, an 8 km hike perfect to commune with nature.

You'll traverse the wooden walkways that border the river for three hours. Waterfalls, mountains, passages, gorges, and much more await you. Our guide will provide insights about this unique environment.

At the end of the hike, we'll enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch, including the famous Arouquesa meat and a local spirit, the pinguça. After this, we'll return to your hotel in Porto, concluding the 8-hour trip.

516 Arouca Bridge

This tour begins with the 516 Arouca Bridge, which requires climbing approximately 300 steps. While crossing the bridge, at a height of 175 meters above the Paiva River, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Aguieira waterfall. This experience lasts about 9 hours before we return you to your hotel.
