Our meeting point is at the fountain near the Museu do Vitral, where we will promptly start our incredible journey through the delightful Ribeira neighborhood!
The adventure kicks off at the iconic Porto Cathedral, where we'll learn about the intriguing legend of Senhor d'Além. As we wander past the vibrant buildings of Pena Ventosa Square, we will also touch on the culinary heritage of the city, particularly focusing on the celebrated dish, bacalhau Gomes de Sá.
As we further immerse ourselves in Ribeira, the route takes us by Largo de São Domingos, where we will admire landmarks such as the Palácio das Artes, the historic Fernandino Gothic Wall, and the stunning Escada do Caminho Novo staircase, located in the Miragaia neighborhood. Make sure to have your camera ready! Throughout this journey, we will share fascinating insights into Porto's classic boats and the life of the tripeiros.
