Cruz de Santa Ana & San Ignacio Ruins Day Trip

On this trip from Posadas, we will discover two icons of the province of Misiones: the Cruz de Santa Ana and the Jesuit ruins of San Ignacio Miní. Additionally, we will visit the Salto Encantado waterfall.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, you will be picked up from your hotel in Posadas for a tour of Misiones, the most northeastern province of Argentina.

The first stop will be at the Salto Encantado Provincial Park, where we will view the impressive waterfall of Salto Encantado at 64 metres (209 feet). Other waterfalls, such as the Salto la Olla and Picaflor waterfall, will also be seen.

After visiting the provincial park, we will proceed to the town of San Ignacio for lunch. After lunch, a guided tour of the Jesuit ruins of San Ignacio Miní will take place, founded by Jesuit father San Roque Conzález de Santa Cruz in 1611.

Next, we will visit the Parque Temático de la Cruz theme park to see the Cruz de Santa Ana, located 360 metres (1181 feet) above sea level. The 52-metre (170-feet) metallic crucifix offers a viewpoint for scenic views of the Paraná River.

The tour will conclude with a return to your hotel in Posadas, scheduled for 12 hours after pickup.
