Day Trip to Apóstoles + Santa Maria Jesuit Ruins

In the Argentinian state of Misiones, visit the cultural site of Apóstoles and its surrounding areas, including the Jesuit Ruins of Santa Maria.

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Posadas to begin a tour through Misiones.

The first stop is Apóstoles, known as the capital of yerba mate in Argentina. A panoramic tour will highlight Casa del Monte and St. Peter's and St. Paul's Churches.

Next, we head to the Juan Szychowski Historical Museum, offering an exhibit on yerba mate. Following this, we will visit Azara for a traditional lunch at La Granja de Don Casiano restaurant.

After lunch, we pass through the village of Tres Capones to the Manto Sagrado de Maria Church, then continue to Concepción de la Sierra for a visit to the Jesuit mission of Concepción. The tour proceeds to the ruins of Santa Maria la Mayor, where a guided tour of the Jesuit settlement is included.

Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Posadas after 12 hours of cultural exploration.
