Posadas Tour & Birdwatching
At your chosen time, we'll depart from your hotel on our sightseeing tour of Posadas.
The tour starts in the Acceso Sur area and the Avenida Costanera, which runs along the Paraná River, the border between Argentina and Paraguay, linked by the San Roque González International Bridge.
Next, we'll visit Plaza 9 de Julio, where the Government House and the Cathedral of San José are located. Our route continues through the northern part of the city to see the Republic of Paraguay Park and the Manuel Antonio Ramirez Amphitheatre. We'll also explore the old train station and notable areas along the Costanera, including the largest pencil-drawn mural in the world.
Afterwards, we'll head to the Arroyo Itá Nature Reserve, a 2-hectare area for birdwatching, where up to 170 different species of birds have been observed, including blue herons, scarlet flycatchers, and limpkins. The reserve also hosts fish like mojarras and shads, along with mammals such as otters and capybaras.
After 3 hours, we will return you to your hotel in Posadas.
