Tour de la yerba mate y el té por Apóstoles

Apóstoles is the Argentine capital of yerba mate. This tour offers an opportunity to explore the secrets of mate and tea in this town in the province of Misiones.

Yerba Mate Tour (5 Hours)

The tour begins at the Casa del Mate, where the origins of Argentine yerba mate are explored. You'll learn about the Ukrainian and Polish communities that settled in the region. Next, visit the Juan Szychowski Historical Museum, which covers the history of La Cachuera S.A., a key yerba mate exporter. You'll see the process of harvesting and processing yerba mate, followed by an optional tasting of mates and other infusions.

Tea Tour (8 Hours)

This tour visits the La Ruta del Té estate. You’ll explore the tea plantations and learn about harvesting techniques. Discover the origins of tea plantations in Argentina and their popularity. Lunch will be provided, followed by a tasting of various types of tea from Misiones.

Yerba Mate & Tea Tour (10 Hours)

This tour combines the previous tea tour with the yerba mate tour. After a tasting at the La Ruta del Té estate, the tour continues at the Juan Szychowski Historical Museum for a deeper insight into yerba mate, including another tasting of Argentinean mates.
