Complete Potosí Tour

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel for our complete Potosí tour. This day-long excursion includes visits to the main attractions of this historic city, known as the Villa Imperial.

We will begin by exploring the origins of Potosí's wealth during the colonial period, focusing on the mines of the Cerro Rico mountain and the mining market. These mines, rich in silver, greatly contributed to Spain's wealth.

Today, minerals like tin and zinc are still extracted. During our visit, we will enter these mines and see the iconic figure of El Tío, a guardian spirit for the miners.

Following our mine visit, we will enjoy a traditional lunch, which includes a starter, main course, and drink.

Post-lunch, we will visit the National Mint of Bolivia, proposed in the 16th century for coin production from silver. This building retains its colonial architecture and features a beautiful porticoed courtyard.

Next, we will tour the old town, discussing key historical events as we stroll through the squares. We will visit San Francisco Church to view its sacred works of art.

We will conclude our tour and return you to your hotel, arriving at 5 pm.
