Upon arrival, we will stand before the Holy Basilica Cathedral of Potosí, constructed between 1808 and 1836, featuring both colonial baroque and neoclassical architectural styles. The tour will include an explanation of the terms "cathedral" and "basilica" as they relate to this structure.

This cathedral represents the culmination of significant architectural projects in Potosí. During our 1-hour guided tour, we will explore the importance of religious architecture in Bolivia and the history of the cathedral.

After admiring the cathedral's façade, we will enter its naves to view the interior paintings, decorations, and gold-leaf panelling. We will also visit the mausoleum, the choir, and the bell tower, which provides a stunning view of Potosí.
