Melgarejo Trail Hike
After picking you up from your hotel in Potosí at 8 am, we'll head to the beginning of the Melgarejo trail to start our hike.
During the seven-hour hike, we'll follow the steps of Bolivian politician Mariano Melgarejo. The trail offers a panoramic view of Potosí and Cerro Rico, known for its significant silver reserves. The hike includes a visit to the Portaretrato Cave and a break for a picnic.
We will continue exploring local plants and wildlife, including various cacti. The hike concludes with a drop-off at your hotel by around 4 pm.
Hotel pick up
This tour includes pick-up from hotels in central Potosí. If you are staying in nearby villages, you need to reach the meeting point on Calle Lanza.
