Potosí City & Mines Sightseeing Tour + Thuru Museum

At your chosen time, we'll meet on Calle Ayacucho to start our guided tour of Potosí's historic centre.

During our 1-hour 30-minute route through the old town, we'll visit 10 November Square to see the façade of the Potosí Cathedral and the old Mint. We'll admire the exterior of other iconic monuments including the Tower of the Society of Jesus and the Convent of Santa Teresa.

We will pause at the Cobija Arch and walk along the central Boulevard, the main pedestrian street of the city. After the tour of Potosí, we'll explore its popular mining market to discover its most sought-after products.

Next, we'll visit the Kunty Mine and its nearby refining plant, viewing these industrial sites from the outside. Our tour includes a visit to the Thuru Museum, where we will see a large collection of minerals and colonial mining equipment.

After the Thuru Museum, we will return to the centre of Potosí, concluding the tour 4 hours 30 minutes after it began.
