Potosí City & Mines Sightseeing Tour + Thuru Museum

At your chosen time, we will meet you on Calle Ayacucho to start our guided tour of Potosí's historic centre.

On our 1-hour 30-minute route through the old town, we will stroll through 10 November Square, viewing the façade of Potosí Cathedral and the old Mint. We will also admire the exterior of monuments such as the Tower of the Society of Jesus and the Convent of Santa Teresa.

We will pause in front of the Cobija Arch and walk along the central Boulevard, the main pedestrian street. After the tour of Potosí, we will visit the popular mining market to discover its most sought-after products.

Next, we will head to the Kunty Mine and its nearby refining plant to view these industrial centres from the outside. Our final stop will be the Thuru Museum, where we will observe a large collection of minerals and colonial mining equipment.

After visiting the Thuru Museum, we will return to the centre of Potosí, completing our tour 4 hours 30 minutes after it began.
