When booking, you can choose between two options. Both tours begin and end on Ayacucho Street, in the center of Potosí:

Kunty Mine Tour

This tour takes you to one of the most famous modern mines in Potosí. After a 20-minute drive, we arrive at Cerro Chico, home to the Kunty mine. We will enter the gallery to visit one of its levels and explore mining culture. The tour includes information about El Tío, a deity associated with mining, often surrounded by alcohol, tobacco, or coca leaves. Photos of the mining wagons can be taken before returning to the minibus for the trip back to the starting point.

Candelaria Mine Tour

This tour focuses on the Candelaria mine, which dates back to the seventeenth century and is approximately 20 minutes away. The tour first visits a small mining museum, providing insights into the profession and daily life of miners, including their diet, schedule, and tools used with coca leaves for altitude adaptation.

The exploration of the galleries lasts two hours, featuring offerings of an ancient ritual and an examination of the interconnecting tunnels. The tour concludes with a return to the surface via the Rosario mine, followed by the drive back to the starting point.
