Two options are available during booking, both starting and ending on Ayacucho Street in central Potosí:

Kunty Mine Tour

This option takes you to one of the most famous modern mines in Potosí. After a 20-minute drive, we arrive at Cerro Chico, where the Kunty mine is located. You will enter the gallery to visit a mine level and learn about mining culture. The tour includes a discussion about El Tío, a deity typically seen with alcohol, tobacco, or coca leaves. Photo opportunities of the mining wagons are available before returning to the minibus.

Candelaria Mine Tour

This tour visits the Candelaria mine, a traditional mine dating back to the seventeenth century, also about 20 minutes away. The tour begins at a small mining museum, offering insights into the miners' daily lives, including their diet, schedules, and tools, like coca leaves used for altitude adjustment. You will explore the galleries for two hours, noting ancient ritual offerings and the interconnected tunnels. The return to the surface is via the Rosario mine, followed by the journey back to the starting point.
