Description
Leaving Prague at 8:30 am, the journey to Cesky Krumlov begins, home to the medieval town that boasts the second largest castle in the Czech Republic.
A guide will lead you through the narrowest and most winding streets of the historic center, filled with Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings from the time of the noble families of Rozmberk, Eggenberg, and Schwarzenberg. Following this, you will have time to explore the city at your leisure.
Next, the focus shifts to the castle, the highlight of Cesky Krumlov and the second-largest castle in the Czech Republic. The guide will showcase the stunning exterior of the castle and, if desired, tickets can be purchased for entry inside. The interior features antique furniture, works of art, tapestries, and a collection of unusual ornate weapons.
