Guided tour of the Prague Castle

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Malostranska metro station, avoiding the morning rush and taking a short ride up to the castle. Our skip-the-line entry means we'll dive right in, and start exploring the most important complex in the city.

This tour takes you around the world’s largest ancient castle complex, starting with the St. Vitus Cathedral, which houses the tombs of numerous kings of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperors.

Next is the old Royal Palace, where you'll learn about the "defenestrations," events that sparked the Thirty Years War in Europe.

After visiting St. George’s Basilica, one of the few surviving Romanesque churches in Prague, the tour proceeds to Golden Lane, historically home to alchemists, goldsmiths, and notably, Franz Kafka.

The tour lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours.
