Canyon Churriado Quad Tour

The adventure begins as we gather at the Estrada Geral Costão Novo, ready to start our thrilling quad tour through Churriado Canyon. This location is regarded as one of the most stunning gorges in Rio Grande do Sul, situated in southeastern Brazil.

Our journey will commence on an 8-kilometer (4.9-mile) path that leads through the picturesque countryside of the Churriado Canyon area. As we navigate this section, we will encounter crystal-clear rivers, traverse dense forests, and travel along unpaved trails. One of the highlights will be our visit to the breathtaking Quedas waterfall, renowned as one of the most beautiful in the vicinity.

After a refreshing swim at the waterfall, we'll proceed into the remarkable Churriado Canyon. This gorge, located within the Serra Geral National Park, stretches an impressive 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) and features towering rock walls that reach heights between 260 and 720 meters (850 to 2,362 feet), enveloped in vibrant vegetation.

Throughout the excursion, we’ll have the opportunity to observe the wildlife native to Rio Grande do Sul that resides within the canyon. Additionally, we’ll gain insights into the unique plant life endemic to this region, revealing the rich biodiversity that flourishes here.

After an exhilarating 1.5-hour trek through the wilderness, we will make our way back to our starting point, marking the conclusion of our quad tour.

Requirements

All participants, whether they are drivers or passengers, must be at least 16 years of age to join this experience.

Each quad has a capacity for two riders: one driver and one passenger. If both individuals possess a valid driving license, they may alternate driving during the tour.
