On this excursion to the Fortaleza Canyon from Praia Grande, we will explore one of the most impressive gorges in southern Brazil.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Praia Grande at 8:30 am and travel to the area between Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, where the Fortaleza Canyon is located.

The tour includes a hiking route through the Fortaleza Canyon. This 7-kilometre walk will feature two different hikes through the natural environment.

The first section will lead us to a viewpoint at 1118 metres (3667 feet), offering panoramic views of the canyon. After taking pictures, we will proceed to the Tigre Negro waterfall.

We will have a short stop by the waterfall for a picnic lunch consisting of a sandwich, cereal bar, juice, and fruit. After lunch, we will continue to the Pedra do Segredo, known for its unique rock formation.

After visiting this site, we will return to the beginning of the Fortaleza Canyon, where our vehicle will take us back to Praia Grande. The estimated arrival at your hotel is between 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.
