At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Praia and set off on our tour of Cape Verde's capital.

Our first stop will be at the Doña María Pía Lighthouse, located on Santiago Island's southernmost tip, offering views of the Atlantic Ocean. We will then head to the Plateau neighbourhood for a walking tour around Praia's historic centre, including Alexandre Albuquerque Square, where you will find the Presidential Palace, the Church of Our Lady of Grace, and the Jaime Mota Barracks.

Next to the square is the Praia Municipal Market, featuring abundant fruit and vegetable stalls. We will also visit the Sucupira Market, dedicated to local handicrafts. Following the markets, we'll drive to Cidade Velha, an ancient Portuguese settlement located on Santiago Island's southern coast.

The ruins of Cidade Velha have been declared a World Heritage Site and are one of the Seven Wonders of Portuguese Origin in the World. We will visit the remains of the ancient cathedral and the Fuerte Real de São Filipe.

Finally, we will visit the Church of Our Lady of Rosário, the convent of São Francisco, and the Pelourinho, the former slave market square. At the end of the tour, we'll return to your hotel in Praia, completing approximately 4 hours of the tour.
