Day Trip Overview

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Praia at the scheduled time, followed by a drive towards the western coast of Santiago Island. During the journey, we will make brief stops in the scenic villages of São Domingos and Assomada for photo opportunities.

The first destination is Ribeira da Barca, where we will embark on a 30-minute boat ride, exploring the coastal waters. After this, we will continue our journey along Santiago's coast, stopping at Achada Leite. Here, we will take a moment to appreciate the coastal rock formations, renowned as one of the seven wonders of Cape Verde.

Next, we will visit Aguas Belas Beach, providing you with one hour of leisure time to swim in the Atlantic and snorkel through the sea caves. Following your refreshing experience, a tasty barbecue lunch awaits you on the beach, featuring a selection of grilled meats or fish, accompanied by vegetables and rice.

After relishing your meal, we will head back to Ribeira da Barca for a relaxing stroll, allowing you to soak in the delightful landscape of the village. Don’t forget to gaze at the cliffs, where the lush greens and earthy tones contrast beautifully with the deep blue of the Atlantic.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Praia, with an expected arrival time between five to six hours after the start of our journey.
