São Vicente Island Day Trip

At 5 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Praia and take you to Santiago Island Airport. From there, you'll take a flight to São Vicente Island, where you'll arrive after just 1 hour.

When you land, we'll pick you up at the terminal and set out on a tour of São Vicente Island, which is the second most populated island in Cape Verde. We'll start our tour in Mindelo, visiting the main church, the municipal market, and the birthplace of the singer Cesária Évora. We'll also visit the Fortim do Rei to see the Belem Tower and learn about its connection to the twin tower in Lisbon.

After the tour around Mindelo, we'll proceed to the Praia da Bote market, known for its fresh fish caught off the coast of Salamansa. Next, we'll travel to Gatas Bay to view its sand dunes.

Next, we'll head to the Monte Verde Natural Park, known for its unique rock formations, or volcanic tuffs. After enjoying the landscape, we'll return to Mindelo, where you'll have 30 minutes for lunch next to Laginha Beach.

Finally, we'll take you to São Vicente Airport for your return flight. After landing back on Santiago Island, we'll pick you up and drop you back at your hotel in Praia, with an estimated arrival time of 6 pm.
