Serra de Malagueta Hike
We'll pick you up at the indicated time from your accommodation in Praia and head to the Serra de Malagueta Natural Park, an hour away. You'll have views of the volcanic Fogo island during this excursion.
Over three hours, we'll hike through the national park, exploring its greenery. Our first stop will be Gongon, where you will learn about the ancient traditions of Santiago Island from the local inhabitants.
Next, we will continue to Espinho Branco, enjoying stunning sea views. You will meet the rabelados, a religious community living in isolation since 1942, and learn about their way of life.
At the end of the hike, you will enjoy a picnic lunch consisting of sandwiches, water, juice, fruit, and dessert. We will then return to Praia by bus and conclude the excursion after a total of 5 hours of activity.
