Join us for a day at sea on this boat trip around the Ambracian Gulf. Throughout the trip, we'll sail the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea.
Sail Along the Ambracian Gulf
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Eleftheriou Venizelou Street, in Preveza, to begin this boat trip around the Gulf of Arta. We'll spend the day in the waters of the Ionian Sea while discovering the historical and environmental importance of this area of northwest Greece.
As we sail, we'll share different facts about the Ambracian Gulf, known as the Gulf of Arta or the Actium Gulf. It features a narrow passage of 700 metres (2,296 feet) that connects it to the sea.
We'll continue out to sea in search of dolphins, specifically the bottlenose dolphin, which can approach the boat for photo opportunities.
After our encounter with the dolphins, we'll make a stop for a refreshing swim and enjoy a delicious lunch on board, which includes fish or shellfish with a potato and tomato salad, accompanied by a drink of water, juice, beer, or wine.
After 4 to 5 hours of cruising in the Ambracian Gulf, we'll return to the meeting point. See you next time!
