Prignano Cilento Tour

In this guided tour of Prignano Cilento, we'll discover its main monuments and taste the famous white fig of Cilento, a local specialty!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the City Hall of Prignano Cilento, where the mayor will welcome us and invite us to explore this town in the Campania region.

First, in Piazza Municipio, we'll see the contemporary art monument Canne by Elio Rumma. Then, we'll walk through the medieval streets of Prignano Cilento, admiring its religious architecture.

We'll proceed along the Cuesta di San Giuseppe, passing under its arches and doorways, and visit a medieval well and the chapel of San Giuseppe.

Next, we'll arrive at the Tempone, one of the entrance gates to the historic center. There, we'll visit an artisan factory of Cilento white figs, sampling delicacies like the Monnato white fig.

The tour continues outside the Palazzo Marchesale Cardone and the church of San Nicola. We'll conclude with a lunch consisting of two courses and a drink, enjoyed with views of the Amalfi Coast.

Finally, we'll return to the meeting point 4 hours after the start of the tour.
