Punta Arrecife Excursion

Enjoy a day in Colombian paradise with this excursion to Punta Arrecife from Providencia. You'll snorkel in clear waters and try hand-line fishing.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the floating bar near the Santa Catalina bridge. There, we'll board a boat and start sailing to visit Punta Arrecife, also known as the lighthouse.

During the crossing, we'll enjoy the landscapes of the islands, such as the Island of Santa Catalina or Morgan's Head, a rock resembling a human head. We will approach the coral barrier reef and learn to fish with hand lines, an artisanal fishing technique.

We will make a stop at the Josti Spot, where you can swim and go snorkelling to see fish and corals in the crystalline waters of Punta Arrecife.

Our snorkelling experience continues at the lighthouse, where we'll have another stop to snorkel among sharks, stingrays, and mantas.

We will then sail towards the island of Providencia, passing by Lover's Bridge and stopping at South West Beach for a barbecue with the fish we caught.

Finally, we'll return to the departure point, concluding the trip after 5 hours in total.
