Authentic, traditional, modern, cosmopolitan, European... The magical city of Santiago de Chile is a wonderful melting pot of contrasts and contradictions. On our guided walking tour around the city centre, you'll discover all the iconic landmarks and secrets of this captivating capital city.
Santiago Walking Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel at 9 am and head to the centre of Santiago de Chile to set off on a walking tour of the most iconic places in the city.
In the heart of the city, you'll visit the French-style garden Cerro Santa Lucia, followed by the Plaza de Armas square to see famous monuments, including the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National History Museum, and local government offices.
Next, we'll explore the historic centre until we reach the La Moneda Palace, a notable example of Chile's neoclassical architecture and political history. We will then proceed to the Bellavista neighborhood, Reyes park, and the National Museum of Fine Arts.
A stop will be made for a typical Chilean empanada and a traditional drink called mote con huesillos.
Finally, we'll take the cable car up the San Cristóbal hill for views of the city, and you can return down by metro or minibus, your choice!
We'll conclude the tour around 2 pm.
