On this tour from Pucón, you'll travel to the Argentine border with Chile, exploring volcanoes and monkey-puzzle forests along the Andean border.

Argentine Border Tour

At 9 am, we'll set off from your hotel in Pucón and head to Curarrehue, a picturesque Chilean village near the border.

From Curarrehue, we'll proceed to Mamuil Mala, the border crossing point between Chile and Argentina. A sightseeing tour will allow us to admire views of the Lanín Volcano, which stands at 12,388 feet (3,776 meters) and is part of the Pacific Ring of Fire.

We'll stop near the volcano to appreciate the Araucaria forests, known for their lush green hues that enhance the valleys of Lanín Valley.

Continuing along the Argentine border, we'll visit the shores of Lake Quillelhue, located less than a mile from Argentina. Historically, people had to cross the lake by boat to travel between the two countries.

After visiting Lake Quillelhue, we will return to your hotel in Pucón and drop you off at 1 pm.
