Argentine Border Tour
- 4 Stunden
On this tour from Pucón, you'll travel to the Argentine border with Chile, exploring volcanoes and monkey-puzzle forests along the Andean border.
Argentine Border Tour
At 9 am, we'll depart from your hotel in Pucón heading to Curarrehue, a Chilean village near the border.
From Curarrehue, we will proceed to Mamuil Mala, the border crossing point across the Andes. We will embark on a sightseeing tour where we will admire views of the active Lanín Volcano, which reaches 12,388 feet (3,776 meters) and is part of the Pacific Ring of Fire.
During our stop near the volcano, we will appreciate the beauty of the Araucaria forests, known for their soft green hues across the valleys at the foot of Lanín Valley.
Our journey will continue along the shores of Lake Quillelhue, located less than a mile from Argentina. Historically, people crossed the lake by boat due to the absence of roads.
After visiting Lake Quillelhue, we will return to your hotel in Pucón, with drop-off scheduled for 1 pm.

This tour includes pick up from hotels in central Pucón. For remote accommodations, pick up will be at 375 Pedro de Valdivia Street.
