Discover the lush forests and enchanting lagoons in one of Araucanía's most beautiful natural areas on our Huerquehue National Park Hike. We'll spend the day walking among breathtaking scenery on this unforgettable activity.
Huerquehue National Park Hike
At 8 am we will pick you up from your hotel in Pucón and drive to the Huerquehue National Park, a protected area in the Chilean region of Araucanía.
We'll begin our hike by exploring the forests in the park, highlighted by the thousand-year-old monkey-puzzle trees, a significant natural treasure. While walking among the trees, we will learn about the conditions that allow this botanical species, prevalent in South America, to thrive.
The park is also renowned for its lakes. During our hiking route, we will visit the Tinquilco, Verde, Toro, and Chico lakes, enjoying the surrounding greenery.
As we continue, we will discover other vegetation in the park, such as coigüe and lenga trees, and learn about its wildlife, including Darwin's frogs and pudus, the smallest deer species.
After the hike, we will return to the starting point and make our way back to Pucón, with an expected arrival time of 1 pm.
Pick up
This activity includes pick up from hotels in central Pucón. For remote locations, we will pick you up at calle Pedro de Valdivia, 375.
