Valparaíso & Viña del Mar Day Trip

Don't miss exploring two of Chile's most important coastal cities on this day trip to Valparaíso and Viña del Mar from Santiago. You'll also visit a vineyard in the famous Casablanca Valley!

Tour Details

After being picked up from your hotel at the designated time, you'll leave Santiago behind and head out to the northwest, in the direction of Chile's coast.

As you drive through the heart of one of the country's main wine-producing regions, admiring the vineyard-covered landscapes along the way, we'll make a stop in the Casablanca Valley.

We'll then continue down the route until we reach Valparaíso, considered the cultural capital of Chile. We'll admire Muelle Prat, a historic dock filled with dozens of colorful boats. From Plaza Sotomayor, the main gateway to Valparaíso from the sea, we'll explore the old quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We'll then visit the outside of the famous House-Museum of Pablo Neruda, known as La Sebastiana. Next, we'll head to the slopes of Artillery Hill to admire a panoramic view of the city and the 40 hills that surround it from the Paseo 21 de Mayo, one of Valparaíso's natural balconies.

After the guided tour of Valparaíso, we'll head to Viña del Mar, famous for hosting the international song festival held every year at Quinta Vergara. On one side of Cerro Castillo, we'll see the iconic Flower Clock. Get your cameras ready; according to local legend, taking a picture here guarantees that you'll return!

Next, we'll give you an hour of free time to have lunch before continuing the tour of Viña del Mar. Depending on availability, lunch will be in a spa or in a castle, but both places with sea views.

At the end of a fun day exploring these unmissable places on the Chilean coast, we'll return to your hotel in Santiago 10 to 12 hours after the pickup time.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes a pickup between 6:30 am and 8 am and drop-off service at hotels in the following areas of Santiago de Chile: Providencia, Las Condes (hotel area), Vitacura (hotel area), and Santiago Centro. If your accommodation is located in a different district, we'll contact you to arrange an alternative meeting point.
