4-day PADI Open Water Course

The PADI Open Water Diver course on San Cristobal Island spans 4 consecutive days:

Day 1

Meet at the dive centre in Calle Igancio Hernandez for an introductory theory class covering the safety rules to be followed underwater.

Day 2

Familiarise yourself with the diving equipment, including putting on your wetsuit, flippers, goggles, snorkel, oxygen tank, and other necessary gear. You'll have your first practical diving lesson in the pool, applying what you learned in theory and continuing to learn diving techniques.

Day 3

Meet at the dive centre at the agreed time to do two dives in confined water, gaining essential knowledge for diving. This day will conclude with a final theory lesson.

Day 4

Prepare the equipment and head to the coast of San Cristóbal for two open water dives descending to 18 metres (59 feet). You will take a final exam to obtain your PADI Open Water Diver certificate to explore underwater treasures globally.

Experts Course

If you are not a beginner diver, consider booking the expert course, which also spans four days and includes five adventure dives; two compulsory dives are the Deep Adventure Dive and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive. You'll receive a temporary PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification card, extending your depth range to 30 metres (98 feet).
