Puerto Cabello Guided Tour

Welcome to Puerto Cabello! We'll meet at Plaza El Águila and begin a walking tour of Venezuela's main port city.

We will pass significant sites, starting with a visit to Malecón, featuring fountains and sculptures of mermaids. Next, we will visit Plaza Bolívar and the Cathedral of San José, located at the Anzoátegui Barracks. Following this, we will spend around half an hour at the Museo Casa Herrera to learn about Puerto Cabello's history.

We will then explore the colorful houses of the colonial era while discussing stories of pirates and captains from the fifteenth century.

Along our route, we will see additional landmarks, including the Church of El Rosario, Casa Guipuzcoana, Plaza Juan José Flores, Street Lanceros and its Prefects, and the Monument to Decentralization.

The total duration of the tour is 2-3 hours, concluding back at the starting point.
