Puerto Cabello Guided Tour

Welcome to Puerto Cabello! At the appointed time we'll meet at Plaza El Águila and set off on a walking tour of Venezuela's main port city.

Throughout the tour, we'll pass by significant sites in Puerto Cabello, starting with a visit to Malecón, a site featuring fountains and sculptures. Next, we'll visit Plaza Bolívar and the Cathedral of San José, situated at the Anzoátegui Barracks. Following this, we'll spend approximately 30 minutes at the Museo Casa Herrera to learn about Puerto Cabello's history.

We'll explore the colorful houses from the colonial era and recount stories of pirates and captains from the fifteenth century who vied for control of trade. Our route will also include notable landmarks such as the Church of El Rosario, Casa Guipuzcoana, Plaza Juan José Flores, Street Lanceros and its Prefects, and the Monument to Decentralization. Bring your camera to capture these moments.

Finally, after 2-3 hours, we'll return to the starting point, concluding the tour.
