Teide Cable Car + Hike Experience

Visit the highest peak in Spain and admire the volcano rising to 3718 metres with this Teide Cable Car + Hike Experience. You'll enjoy incredible views and an unforgettable hiking route.

Tour Details

After bus pickup from scheduled meeting points, we'll head to Teide National Park, where the cable car is located.

The cable car journey takes approximately 10 minutes, ascending over 1000 metres to the top station at 3555 metres above sea level.

We'll walk along the Telesforo Bravo hiking route to the volcano's summit. An official permit is required, but this tour handles the paperwork.

After hiking for over half a kilometre, participants will experience the environment's sulphur smell, distinct rock colors, and breathtaking views from the highest peak in Spain. After approximately 40 minutes of walking, we may see nearby islands if the weather is clear.

The return journey includes a cable car ride back to the base station, concluding the tour after a total of 6 hours.

Ascent to the Peak

Confirmation of this reservation is not immediate, as a special permit from the national park is needed to climb Mount Teide.

Once your reservation is processed, the permit will be confirmed. If no confirmation is received after 72 hours, you can inquire about the status.

Important Info

Individuals with cardiovascular problems, pregnant women, and those with reduced mobility cannot use the cable car. Entry to the Teide cable car requires appropriate sports or hiking footwear; sandals and smooth-soled footwear are prohibited.

Pickup times are generally between 6:55 and 9:25 am. We will inform you of the exact time before the excursion. Please select one of the pickup points in northern Tenerife when making your reservation.
