Teide Cable Car + Hike Experience

Tour Details

After pickup by bus from one of the meeting points, we will depart for Teide National Park, where the cable car is located.

The cable car journey takes approximately 10 minutes, climbing over 1000 metres to the top station at 3555 metres above sea level.

We will begin walking along the Telesforo Bravo hiking route to the volcano's summit, which requires an official permit. This tour takes care of the paperwork for you.

The walk covers more than half a kilometre, with the aroma of sulphur in the air. The landscape and views will provide memorable moments. After 40 minutes of walking, we will reach Teide. On clear days, summits of nearby islands like La Gomera, El Hierro, La Palma, and Gran Canaria can be seen.

We will then return via the cable car to the base station, where the bus awaits. The total duration of the tour is 6 hours, concluding at the departure points.

Ascent to the Peak

Confirmation of this reservation is not immediate as it requires a special permit from the national park for the summit ascent.

Upon receiving your reservation, we will process the permit and confirm authorization. If final confirmation is not received within 72 hours, contact us for status updates.

Important Info

Individuals with cardiovascular problems, pregnant women, and those with reduced mobility cannot use the cable car. Entry restrictions apply to those not wearing sports or hiking footwear. Sandals, backless shoes, heeled shoes, or smooth-soled footwear are prohibited.

Schedules and Pickup Points

Pickup times are generally between 6:55 and 9:25 am. We will inform you of the exact time prior to the excursion, as it may vary. Please indicate one of the pickup points offered in northern Tenerife when making your reservation.
