Teide Cable Car + Hike Experience

After being picked up by bus from specified meeting points at the scheduled time, we will head to Teide National Park to find the cable car.

The cable car journey lasts approximately 10 minutes, ascending over 1000 metres to the top station at 3555 metres above sea level.

Hikers will follow the Telesforo Bravo route to the top of the volcano, requiring an official permit. This tour includes all necessary paperwork.

The walking route exceeds half a kilometre, showcasing sulphur scents, striking rock colors, and scenic views, culminating at the top of the highest peak in Spain. After 40 minutes, clear days may offer views of La Gomera, El Hierro, La Palma, and Gran Canaria.

We will return to the cable car for the journey back to the base station, concluding the tour after a total of 6 hours.

Ascent to the Peak

Reservation confirmation is not immediate as a special permit from the national park is required to ascend Mount Teide. Upon reservation, we will process this permit and inform you once authorization is obtained. If no confirmation is received within 72 hours, you may reach out to check the status.

Important Info

Individuals with cardiovascular problems, pregnant women, and those with reduced mobility cannot use the cable car. Entry to the Teide cable car is restricted to those wearing appropriate sports or hiking footwear; sandals, backless shoes, heeled footwear, and smooth-soled shoes are prohibited.

Pickup times range from 6:55 to 9:25 am. Prior to the excursion, we will contact you with the exact time, which may vary. Please indicate your preferred pickup point when making your reservation from the available options in northern Tenerife.
