Teide Stargazing Tour from North Tenerife
We'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point in North Tenerife and proceed to the Teide National Park, an impressive site on the island.
Our first stop will be at the Teide Observatory, operating since 1964, home to a significant solar telescope. A guided tour will provide insights into its modern technology.
During the observatory tour, we will explore why Tenerife is among the best places worldwide for stargazing and learn about the work of astrophysicists, as well as gaze at the sun through the center's telescopes.
We'll admire the sunset on Mount Teide, observing the transition from day to night with beautiful hues as the sun sets behind the volcano.
At the base station of the Teide cable car, we'll take a 30-minute break for a picnic meal including a sausage and cheese sandwich, a sweet treat, and a bottle of water or soft drink.
You will have 1 hour and 15 minutes using long-range telescopes to explore the night sky, find the North Star, and learn about Greek mythology related to celestial bodies.
We will drop you off at your starting point after a total of 8 hours together.
